SACERDOTAL ORDINATION OF DEACON DANNIE LUIS ANAK ROMANUS will take place on Sunday, 14th December, 4.00 pm at St Joseph’s Cathedral. Join us for the Mass to support and pray for your new priest.

ADVENT RETREAT entitled “ADVENTure” – Kuching Archdiocesan Youth Commission (K.A.Y.C.) is inviting young adults to a silent retreat entitled “ADVENTure” from 12th to 14th December (Friday to Sunday) at the Bung Bratak Heritage Centre, Kampung Tembawang Sauh, Bau. This weekend retreat will be facilitated by Fr. Stanley Goh, SJ. It provides an opportunity for the participants to delve deeper into their hearts — to seek the Lord, to love and serve him more faithfully.

Participants are limited to 30 persons only, on a first come, first served basis and a fee ranging from RM140 to RM200 per person will be collected to defray expenses. CHRISTMAS GIFTS COLLECTION FOR THE NEEDY FAMILIES AND CHILDREN
The BSC Boys’ Brigade will be collecting gifts for families and children in need. Your generous contributions are greatly appreciated.For Children:

JOINT CHRISTMAS SERVICE 2025 will be organised by the Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS) and hosted by the Anglican Church on Thursday, 18th December, 7:30 pm at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre, Jalan Stampin. All are welcome!

COMBINED REQUIEM MASS will be celebrated on Friday, 19th December at 6.00 pm. Hand in request to the Parish Office by Tuesday, 16th December.

INFANT BAPTISM will be on Saturday, 27th December at 3:00 pm. Baptismal information forms are available at the main entrance of the Church or downloadable from the Parish website. Please submit completed registration forms to the Parish Office by Thursday, 18th December.

ENGLISH SUNDAY SCHOOL 2026 REGISTRATON – All parents are invited to register their children for the 2026 Sunday School. Registration is required for both new and returning students. Online registration is now open! To register, please scan the QR code on the poster. Physical registration will take place on 4th and 11th January, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm at the Father Dato’ Lawrence Chua Centre. Classes will resume on 18th January 2026. LOST & FOUND ITEMS – Please collect your lost items from the Lost & Found cabinet located at the main entrance of the Church by next Sunday, 7th December, after which all unclaimed items will be disposed of or donated.

APPEAL FOR DONATION TO THE KUCHING CATHOLIC CEMETERIES & COLUMBARIA SERVICES (KCCCS) – The Custodian of KCCCS is appealing for your generous donation for the maintenance and upkeep of our Catholic cemeteries and improvement of its facilities. Donations may be handed online to The Archbishop of Kuching Maybank Account # 5112 5200 0808 remark “for KCCCS” or drop KCCCS envelopes to the collection bags.
