5	JOIN OUR ENGLISH SUNDAY SCHOOL TEAM! We’re looking for volunteers to teach and mentor our Sunday School students as they grow in their faith. No teaching experience is needed—just a willing heart! For more information, contact Martina Juan at 016-288 6340 or James Bilong at 012-808 5323.
6	CHRISTMAS GIFTS COLLECTION FOR THE NEEDY FAMILIES AND CHILDREN The BSC Boys’ Brigade will be collecting gifts for families and children in need. Your generous contributions are greatly appreciated. For Children: School bags or stationery sets Please wrap the gifts and label them with the appropriate gender (boys, girls, or both) and age group. For the Family Households: 10kg rice packs We will have collection booths at the church main entrance after our weekend Masses from 30th November to 15th December. 7	THE PONTIFICAL SOCIETY OF HOLY CHILDHOOD LOVE OFFERING BOXES – These enable children to help other children in need. Please collect them from the main entrance of the church and return them by the end of December.
8	COMBINED REQUIEM MASS will be celebrated on Friday, 20th December at 6.00 pm. Hand in request to the Parish Office by Wednesday, 17th December.
9	“LET THERE BE CHRISTMAS” – A CHARITY CONCERT will be organised by the Kuching Choral Society (KCS) on 13th & 14th December (Friday & Saturday) from 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm at St. Joseph Grand Hall, Level 3, A.C.C.P.C. 10	2024 ACS JOINT CHRISTMAS SERVICE will be organised by the Association of Churches in Sarawak (ACS) and hosted by the Methodist Church SCAC on Thursday, 19th December, 7:30 pm at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre, Jalan Stampin. All are welcome.
11	APPEAL FOR DONATION TO THE KUCHING CATHOLIC CEMETERIES & COLUMBARIA SERVICES (KCCCS) – The Custodian of KCCCS is appealing for your generous donation for the maintenance and upkeep of our Catholic cemeteries and improvement of its facilities. Donations may be handed online to The Archbishop of Kuching Maybank Account # 5112 5200 0808 remark “for KCCCS” or drop KCCCS envelopes to the collection bags.
12	SEEKERS ADVENTURE – KAYC (Kuching Archdiocesan Youth Commission) is inviting young adults to an Advent retreat entitled “ADVENTure 2024” from 13th to 15th December at The Pondok @ Sirru, Sematan. This is a weekend get-away to pray and ponder, go deeper in faith and love, and to grow dearer in life. For further information and registration, please scan the QR code at poster.
13	PRE-UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS – St. Joseph’s International School (SJIS) is offering two internationally recognised Pre-university programs, namely Cambridge A-Level and Western Australian Matriculation. 14	FUND RAISING FOR ST PETER’S CHURCH, PADUNGAN – We seek your help to raise fund for the new church! We were informed that the grant from the Government is not forthcoming. Any amount is welcome. Orders received by Thursday noon each week can be collected on Saturday mornings at either the ACCPC car park (St. Joseph’s Cathedral ground) OR Holy Trinity Church, Kenyalang. CATHOLIC FUNERAL & BURIAL SERVICE – The Catholic Mutual Benefit Society of the Kuching Archdiocese provides assistance to bereaved families at the time of death. Their services include providing advice regarding Christian rituals, cemetery plots, columbarium, caskets, transportation, arrangement for funeral masses, wake prayers for the dead, etc.
