MAY ROSARY- We encourage EVERY FAMILY in our Parish to commit to coming to the BSC Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes to participate in Rosary recitation for the month of May.

Rosary in Chinese: 7.30 pm – 8.00 pm
Rosary in English: 8.00 pm – 8.30 pm

During weekends, Rosary will be recited in the Church 30 minutes before Masses.

CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS RADIO BROADCAST in Mandarin by Fr. Leonard Yap will be on the air (RedFM 91.9) this Sunday at 6:45 pm.

PRIESTS RECOLLECTION & MEETING will be held on Wednesday, 20th May. The 6.00 pm weekday Mass is cancelled.

NOVENA TO THE HOLY SPIRIT (IN PREPARATION FOR PENTECOST) The Novena which began on Friday, 15th May will end on Saturday, 23rd May

Let us come together in prayer, seeking a powerful out-pouring of the Holy Spirit upon us all on PENTECOST SUNDAY.

GAWAI THANKSGIVING MASS will be celebrated on Friday, 15th May, at 8:00 pm. Parishioners who would like to have their personal tuak and new rice blessed are invited to bring them from home and place them in the empty space next to your seat. The priest will bless these items after the Prayer after Communion. Parishioners are also encouraged to wear their traditional costumes to Mass on that day.

The 6:00 pm weekday Mass on that day is cancelled.

COMBINED REQUIEM MASS will be celebrated on Friday, 22nd May at 6:00 pm. Hand in request to the Parish office by Wednesday, 20th May.

PENTECOST SUNDAY (24th MAY 2026) – Please note that on Pentecost Sunday, we will have our usual Charismatic Mass at 10:30 am. At the end of the Mass, there will be prayers for the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

At 3:00 pm on Pentecost Sunday, there will be a Pentecost Rally organized by the Archdiocesan Charismatic Renewal Team (ACRT) at Blessed Sacrament Church, which will begin with a Mass celebrated by Monsignor William Sabang and culminate with praying over by the various prayer groups. Fellowship and light refreshments will be provided at the end. All are welcome

MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSES (for parishioners from Kuching Archdiocese only) will be conducted at Level 2, A.C.C.P.C. as follows:

Couples planning to get married are advised to attend these courses at least six months (preferably more than 6 months) before their intended church wedding. ONLINE SMART LOVING ENGAGED MPC COURSE (in English) will be conducted over 8 consecutive Sundays from 7th June to 19th July. Registration is open from 27th April till 25th May (OR when the maximum pax of 40 couples is reached; whichever comes first). The registration fee is RM80 per couple (inclusive of Smart loving workbook to be collected from St. Joseph’s Parish Office upon registration). ST. JOSEPH’S CATHEDRAL PARISH FAMILY DAY (PFD) 2026 will be organised on Sunday, 5th July from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm at the A.C.C.P.C. building and its surrounding perimeters to raise funds for the A.C.C.P.C. Operations & Maintenance Fund.

Please render your fullest support to this annual fund-raising project by buying our PFD COUPONS priced at RM50 per book and register as Stall Operators. Coupons are readily available at the St. Joseph’s church entrances, Rosary Mart (Giftshop) and SJC Parish Office.

ST. JOSEPH’S PRIVATE SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP 2027 – Students currently in Year Six are invited to apply. The Scholarship will cover school fees, allowance, uniform and text books on loan, starting from Form One 2027 academic year. The monthly household income must not exceed RM5,250. TUN TAN CHENG LOCK COLLEGE OF NURSING (also known as Assunta College of Nursing) is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The college is dedicated to provide comprehensive education and training to aspiring students to evolve into becoming competent professional nurses. They are currently offering SCHOLARSHIPS (2 certifications with a monthly allowance of RM1,300) to deserving candidates to pursue a 3-year Diploma in Nursing programme.

The two certifications are Diploma in Nursing and Specialization Course (Post Basic Course). Selected candidates will have the opportunity to pursue their specialization course (Post Basic) in various nursing fields after working for more than 2 years in Assunta Hospital. SYMBOLON: THE CATHOLIC FAITH EXPLAINED is a weekly faith formation series organised by Seekers Young Adults Ministry. The series is opened to all young Catholic adults with the aim of deepening their understanding of the Catholic faith and its meaning in our daily lives. Sessions will be held every Wednesday starting from 4th March until 29th July, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Room 5, Holy Trinity Church. All are welcome!
