A special evening Mass was celebrated by Fr. Felix Au on September 26, 2018, for fifty young students from Blessed Sacrament Church’s Sunday School programme.
The boys came smartly dressed in white shirts and trousers, complete with black bow-ties. The girls wore lovely white frocks with white veils and garlands on their heads.
After months of preparation, these boys and girls were there to receive their first Holy Communion. They had their first Confession at the beginning of September.
Fr Felix complimented them on their appearance and took the opportunity to also advise them to always dress well for Mass. He shared the importance of the Sacrament of Holy Communion, and why they must fully participate at Mass. They should listen attentively to the Scripture Readings, being the Word of God.
He also thanked all the Sunday School teachers and parents of the students, for their hard work and dedication.
