We may be small in numbers, but our faith in the Lord can not be questioned. Formed in 13thOctober 2018, the Legion of Mary praesidium named after Our Lady, Undoer of Knots continue to solidify the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work.
Each week we conduct a meeting where we get together in prayer. During each meeting, we also report and have discussions on weekly activities. We participate in the life of the parish through visitation of families, the sick, both in their homes and in hospitals. We also pray for the deceased and the bereaved at wake prayers. As legionaries, we continue to carry out apostolic work every week in the spirit of faith and in Union with Mary.

Based out of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Kuching, the Our Lady, Undoer of Knots praesidium aims to bring Mary to the world as the infallible means of winning the world to Jesus. The Legionary service is based on the doctrine of the Mystical Body of Christ so that in their fellow members and in those they serve, legionaries seek to have the Person of our Lord once again seen and served by Mary, his Mother.
We are currently looking for more members to join us in our mission serve the Lord. Becoming a Legionary offers many benefits. Apart from doing the Lord’s work in spreading the Good News and strengthening our own faith in the Lord, the apostolic work that we do brings smiles to the faces of other people. We have experienced it ourselves when we visit the sick in the hospital. There is something magical about visit the sick, sad and the lonely and praying for them. Their faces light up with joy, as does yours.
Joining the Legion of Mary also brings people from different walks of life and unite them in prayer and vocational work. You get the opportunity to make new friends and be part of a family in Mary.
Part of the activities of Legion of Mary is to visit the bereaved families of the deceased and join together in prayer.
