A special Mass to pray for students sitting for their UPSR Examinations, was celebrated at an Evening Mass on 5th September, 2018, at Blessed Sacrament Church.

It was put together by the Catholic Teachers Guild, with the support of BSC Sunday School. Students from some of the Catholic schools in the Kuching Archdiocese, came in full force to support the Mass.

Fr Felix Au, in speaking to the students, wished them success in their examinations. He also thanked their parents for the support given to them. He hoped this ‘getting-together’ to pray will continue every year, with Mass celebrated in rotation at different Churches.

The Mass, organised for the first time at Blessed Sacrament Church, was an all ‘students affair’. Apart from the choir from BSC Sunset Mass, these UPSR students took on the roles of Commentator, and Readers for both the Word of God, and Prayers for the Faithful. They presented the Offertory Gifts, and served as Altar Boys and Wardens.

A special Mass for PT3/SPM/STPM Exam students will be held at St Joseph’s Cathedral at 7.30PM on Friday, 28th September, 2018. It is also organised by the Catholic Teachers Guild. Parents and students are encouraged to attend.
