BSC KUCHING: On 7 September, a total of 113 BSC Sunday School students attended a Recollection cum Retreat at BSC, accompanied by their Faith Facilitators. This comprised 51 students from Level 4A & 4B  preparing for their First Holy Communion, and 62 Level 10A & 10B Confirmation students.

This is an annual event organised by the Sunday School, with guest speakers from St Peter’s College Seminary. The Seminarians comprised Brother Mark Noel Bonchol who facilitated the recollection for the Sacrament of Confirmation, and Brothers Morti Lambutan and Michael Dass, on the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

The talks centered around what happens during Liturgy of the Eucharist, The Mass and how the students should conduct themselves in Church.

The Seminarians were charismatic and animated speakers, and with their simple stories and actions, were able to catch the attention of the students.

The first Holy Communion students later experienced their first Confession in Church, with the Confirmation students coming in before Mass.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to the 3 Seminarian Brothers at the end of the talks, followed by lunch.
