BSC KUCHING: The Covid-19 pandemic had derailed the installation of Parish Pastoral Councils (PPC) in parishes in the Archdiocese of Kuching, after they were appointed last year, to hold office for the 2021-2024 term.

Archbishop Simon Poh kept his appointment with the parish councillors of Blessed Sacrament Church, at the sunset Mass on the Solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ – Corpus Christi, on 18 June 2022, also the Feast Day of Blessed Sacrament Church.

In his opening address, Archbishop Simon Poh said the Latin words “Corpus Christi” mean “The Body of Christ”. Catholics can link this to the Blessed Sacrament in Holy Communion.
